Hola de nuevo ! Aqui les tengo este sencillo pero tierno layout para baby girl. La hoja de fondo es nacarada, del Shimmer Stack de DCWV; el adorno de fieltro, las florituras de piedritas y el alfabeto blanco son de Prima Flowers; el alfabeto rosa es de American Crafts. Este layout es una manera sencilla para incluir 3 fotos en una sola pagina, usenlo!

Los materiales necesarios son los siguientes:
Materials needed are:

1. 7Gypsies hardware antique metal ovals
   
2. Ranger Glossy accents
3. Ranger Stickles
   
4. German Scraps (flores, pajaros, mariposas, el tema es a tu gusto/flowers, birds, butterflies...)
5. Papel de scrapbook/scrapbook paper of your choice
   
6. Vane Erosa Beadz (cristales swarosky miniatura/miniature swarowsky flatbacks)
7. Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink (walnut stain)
8. Palito de naranjo o palillo (stick or needle for bubble removal)
   
9. Tijeras/Scissors
10. Pro Edge Cutter de precision
11. Pro Edge Cutting mat (tapete de corte)
    
12. Pinzas de joyeria/Jewelry pliers
    
13. Huesito (bone folder)
    

Las instrucciones generales son: remover los aros de cada pieza, usando las pinzas. Precortar el papel de scrapbook ligeramente mas grande que la pieza. Con ayuda del huesito marcar la silueta interior en el papel, corta y entinta los bordes con la tinta de distress. Adherir el fondo. Tomar el german scrap y recortar las figuras elegidas con la tijera y el cutter de precision. Colocarlas cuidadosamente en la composicion utilizando el glossy accents. Decorar con los cristales y los ranger stickles y rellenar con una capa gruesa tipo domo de glossy accents, cubriendo incluso la pedreria. En caso de formarse burbujas eliminar con el palito de naranjo o aguja rapidamente. Repetir el proceso anteriormente descrito en cada una de las piezas y dejar secar al menos por 24 horas en un lugar seco y libre de polvo.

General instructions are: remove the rings from the ovals. Precut the scrapbook paper slightly bigger than the oval. Using the bone folder, burnish the inner bevel of the oval, cut it and ink the borders using the distress ink. Glue the paper piece at the bottom of the oval using the glossy accents. Take your german scraps and cut your preferred images using a scissor and the presition cutter. Set them in place on the composition using the glossy accents. Decorate with the crystal flatbacks and the ranger stickles. Fill in the whole oval using glossy accents until forming a "dome". Remove bubbles using a toothpick or needle. Repeat the whole process on every piece and let dry for at least 24 hours on a dry dust free area.

SOME OF MY CALLIGRAPHY WORK - ALGO DE MI CALIGRAFIA

Siempre he sido fan de la escritura. Soy zurda, pero a pesar de eso he logrado desarrollar un estilo caligrafico a traves de los años, mas por diversion que por otro motivo. Creo que he escrito sobre mas de una docena de sustratos...a ver dejenme recordar...papel, cartulina, madera, gesso, pared, lienzo, cristal, instrumentos musicales, plastico, vinyl e incluso cascarones de huevo. Aqui les dejo unas imagenes de lo que he hecho, esperando que sean inspiradoras...Y como siempre les digo, siempre experimenta artisticamente, te sorprenderas a ti mismo !

I've always been a writing-addict. I'm a left handed and it's hard sometimes, but i've managed to develope my own calligraphic style and lettering throughout the years and it's always been about fun rather than any other reason. I think i've written over more than a dozen materials...paper, cardstock, wood, gesso, walls, canvas, crystal, music instruments, plastic, vinyl and even eggshells. Here i'm posting images of some of the things i've done, hoping they'll inspire you to try and make your own. And as I always say, art is all about experimenting so go ahead and give it a try!
